Registered Massage Therapy In Squamish & Vancouver
About
I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their optimal health and well-being through massage therapy and exercise. I use a variety of techniques based on the specific needs of each client.
In my approach I aim to work slowly and mindfully to bring calm to the nervous system whilst including therapeutic and functional techniques. Expect slow and focused techniques in a calm environment. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking for stress relief, I am here to support you in helping you achieve your goals.
As a past professional athlete, a pilates instructor and personal trainer, I combine my personal experience with exercise and injury recovery with my education to help others. When I am not working I enjoy trail running or hiking in my backyard in Squamish, travelling to new places or back home to Aotearoa/New Zealand to surf and be with friends and family.

A session will begin with discussing your health history, your concerns and informed consent. Assessment based on your concerns will be conducted prior to treatment and during treatment to determine the safest and most effective treatment approach. A treatment will consist of a variety of massage techniques and after treatment I may provide you with exercises or other versions of home care to continue on your own. I will recommend a treatment plan based on the findings of our session but it is ultimately your choice as to whether massage therapy and my treatment approach is a good fit for you.
In most cases, you do not need a referral to see an RMT. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement. It is advised to check your insurance plan’s requirements before booking an appointment.
Please aim to wear something comfortable and easy to move in. Sometimes we will need to perform specific assessments to determine the best treatment approach and this is done when you are fully clothed. For hands on treatment you will be asked to undress to your comfort level. You will be covered with a sheet and blanket during the treatment, only the areas I am working on will be uncovered at any one time. It is ultimately up to you which areas we treat.
